O M - Get OVER HERE
Hey guys,
The above video is the teaser for Mortal Kombat Rebirth!! Now this might just be the most action-packed-and-wicked film of the year.
At first I didn't know if this video was a spoof or not since it opened with Resident Evil music and the city was called Deacon City which is similar to Raccoon City from the Resident movies, but after watching the fight scenes it looks legit.
Mortal Kombat + a decent story plot >> What more can we ask for? =P
SERIOUSLY CAN-NOT WAIT!!
Till next time,
Kuro Luffy
P.S. Sub Zero LIVES ON!!

Survivor: Nicaragua - Let the backstabbing BEGIN
Survivor has always been one of my favourite reality TV shows, along with Hell's Kitchen. In Survivor, the strongest person (physically) doesn't always win and the most useless people (in general) always manage to stick around to the final 10, this is what still amazes me to this day and keeps me on the edge of my seat every time I watch an episode of Survivor =P
The latest season, Survivor: Nicaragua has an alright group of contestants, there aren't any real masterminds like Russel Hantz from Survivor: Somoa or any crazy-own-every-Immunity-challenge contestant like Ozzy from Survivor: Cook Islands. But this series does have its share of blindsides, feuds and drama.
So far in to the series, I'm really rooting for Jud Birza or some might know him better as FABIO!! He's a really cool guy, does well at challenges and has a personality that's actually a-ite! Not to mention he looks kinda like Leonardo Dicaprio LOL
Well, I hope FABIO wins!!
Cross you fingers with me!
Till next time,
Kuro Luffy
P.S. My most favourite season of Survivor? SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS!! The beaches looked amazing. The water looked warm, clear and blue (unlike Nicaragua...just cold). AND Ozzy! sigh if only he won >.<

Do you remember Final Fantasy X/X2?
Hey everyone,
The Final Fantasy series has always been amazing, especially with incredible graphics offered by the PS3, the newest additions to the series look spectacular. But I just want to remind everyone about the older classic Final Fantasy games that even though did not have the splendid graphics that we have now, were still just as epic if not more.
Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X2 are the 2 games of the franchise that I have come to love the most. I remember buying Final Fantasy X2 (my first game on my PS2) just because of the cute girls on the front =P Almost like fate, my eyes were then opened to the world of Final Fantasy and I must say "It looks pretty awesome!".
But I do have a slight confession, I haven't finished either Final Fantasy X or Final Fantasy X2 despite playing each game more than once...now before you FREAK OUT! let me explain..ahem...I, being the self-proclaimed perfectionist that I am, have always managed to miss something along the way when journeying through the world of Final Fantasy (regardless of the Fantasy)... in Final Fantasy X I didn't solve one of the first ruins (which I swear I did) and thus couldn't unlock the ultimate summon: The Magnus Sisters. So I stopped playing before I met the final boss, Jecht....in X2, even though I followed the official guide to the BONE I was down 1% in the Story Completion and so I didn't finish the game because I wouldn't be able to see the Perfect Ending...
I know. It's depressing... xD
But one day I intend to start up my journey through FFX and FFX2 and hopefully when I'm older (I will be stronger - K'naan =P) I will be able to complete both of these epic games!
Till next time,
Kuro Luffy
P.S. Which Final Fantasy game did you enjoy the most?? Maybe I can (if I haven't already) try it out =)

Guild Wars 2 = Just WOW!
Hey guys,
If you're into MMORPGs you definitely should check out Guild Wars 2. The epic sequel of Guild Wars continues the franchise of online fantasy MMORPG with a whole 'nother level of graphics. There have been some changes from the original, such as the fact that there are now 5 different races with 8 different professions. Unfortunately, if you played Guild Wars you will only be able to transfer your name to Guild Wars 2 but not your character =(
But all in all this looks like a great game. Definitely something that I am considering to get on my very very long wish list. Haha. So check it out and tell me what you think =P
Till next time,
Kuro Luffy

The Leafs are BACK!!
ALRIGHT everyone!! The time has come!! After waiting 8 long and painful games, the Leafs are finally able to come up with a win against the Nashville Predators late on Tuesday night!! The game was nothing short of intense (probably the best game Versteeg has had all season)! The Leafs were down by 3 early on but after a goal from Luke Schenn late in the 1st period, the comeback of our Leafs began, who later won it 5-4. If you missed the game, check out the highlights at the home of the Leafs.
For all you Leaf fans out there, I know we're all feeling the same thing - relieved! Relieved that the torture of watching our team lose game after game, night after night is finally OVER! After being shutout at least 3 times in the 8 game losing streak, I'm hoping our secondary scorers (ie Versteeg, Kulemin, Grabovski, etc.) don't stop scoring!! Is that too much to ask?? LOL just kidding (but seriously don't stop!)
And for all you ex-Leaf fans...COME BACK!! I think the Leafs who started the season 4-0-0 are finally back! But we'll just have to see tomorrow when they take on the New Jersey Devils (but don't worry I have a good feeling =P)
Anyways till next time,
Kuro Luffy

Matt Damon. Hereafter.
Hey guys,
I've always been a fan of Matt Damon. The Bourne trilogy was just EPIC! Hereafter looks like a real good movie talking about the topic of "life after death" which I'm sure has crossed a few of our minds at some point in our lives. Hopefully this movie lives up to the to the level of my anticipation!! Haha. Can't wait!!
Till next time,
Kuro Luffy
P.S. For those who haven't seen any of the Bourne movies, here's the trailer for the 3rd movie Bourne: Ultimatum (the best one in my opinion) but WATCH the first two movies first before you watch this one or else it won't be as EPICLY AWESOME!! The beginning and end of this movie were just over-the-top INSANE!! You'll know what I mean soon enough!

Oh HO HO it's Magic - the GATHERING!!
Hey everyone,
Do you remember the good-old-days when every kid on the block played some type of card game: Pokemon, Yu Gi Oh,etc. Well if you don't, that's okay because I'm going to say it right now: Magic the Gathering beats all other card games out there. From the realistic illustrations to the magnificent game play, there's no other card game that can quite compare...not even Ash Ketchum and Pikachu =(
I found that one of the things that makes Magic such an involved game was that each card is given one of five different colours (Blue, White, Black, Red and Green), and as a result players could create very unique decks based on which combinations of colours they choose. Each colour has its own style of play: for example, Red focuses on getting creatures out fast and burning the opponents life and creatures while Green typically focuses on pumping huge creatures that will ultimately crush all enemy creatures =)
Personally, I prefer the colour black!! ZOMBIES!!! YAY ^-^ And with a new update (to me at least) to one of the coolest cards out there: Phage the Untouchable (she's a zombie NOW, I think she might've been for a long time but they just couldn't fit the word ZOMBIE on the card LOL)
I'm definitely considering starting my journey into Magic the Gathering once again!! Who's with me??!! Woot!!! If you haven't played Magic before give it a shot, it's really fun!!
Anyways--till next time,
Kuro Luffy
P.S. And yes, when I'm in an intense match and my face is all serious..all I can hear is "Oh HO HO it's MAGIC" by Pilot =P

This - is - THE OFFICE!!
Hey everyone!
I hope you liked the vid, it's pretty insane =P But to be honest, the show The Office is NOT a horror flick, sorry for misleading you guys xD It's actually a TV series about life in the workplace, but not just any workplace...the workplace of the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company branch in Scranton which is supervised by Michael Scott (actor: Steve Carell)!!
The Office is one of the best shows of ALL TIME!! It's funny, deep (at times), hilarious and constantly outrageous, that's what makes The Office simply, the best show eva ;)
BAD NEWS: Unfortunately, as of this year Steve Carell (Michael Scott) will be ending his time with the series after producing seven of the BEST SEASONS of TV!!
<sigh> The Office just won't be the same without him.
But anyway, if you haven't watched The Office before GO WATCH IT NOW! And if you have, GO WATCH IT AGAIN!
Till next time,
Kuro Luffy
P.S. My most favourite episode of The Office is: Season 5 Episode 13 Stress Relief
SO FUNNY!!
====Tribute to Michael Scott (The best Paper Company manager in Scranton)====
"Yes. It is true. I, Michael Scott, am signing up with an online dating service. Thousands of people have done it, and I am going to do it. I need a username, and... I have a great one. "Little Kid Lover". That way people will know exactly where my priorities are at. "

"Do I want to be feared or loved? That's a good question. I want both. I people to be afraid of how much they love me!"

"Yeah I have flaws, like I sing in the shower, I volunteer too much, and occasionally I hit someone with my car. So sue me...wait no not really. "

"When I retire, I don’t want to just move to some island somewhere. I want to be the guy who gives it all back. I want it to be like, ‘Hey… who donated that hospital wing that’s saving so many lives?’ ‘I don’t know. It was anonymous.’ ‘Well, guess what. It was Michael Scott.’ ‘But how do you know? It was anonymous.’ ‘Because I’m him."

"I have an enormous amount of trouble trying to get people to come to my place. I hate it. I can't tell you how much leftover guacamole I have ended up eating over the years. I don't even know why I make it in such great quantities. "

So I'm at the airport right now and this is the best I could find since my battery is running out. Friggin outlets aren't powered. Imma try and not sleep during the flight (Toronto -> Beijing Direct Flight). Wish me luck.
